Summer Project Competition

A sense of competition, a desire to excel, does this remind you of your own selves? Then welcome on board. Here’s presenting a platform for the Second years to showcase their determination skills and expertise through your Summer Project they have undertaken in various organizations.

Summer projects are invited in various Management functions:
• Marketing
• Finance
• Operations/ Supply Chain
• Human Resources

Rules and Regulations

Stage1: Elimination Round

• This is an individual event for second year students only - One entry per student
• Any number of Teams or Students can participate in the Event
• The Executive Summary should not exceed 1500 words excluding the cover page
• The summary must be submitted in Times New Roman font, size 12 with 1.5 line spacing in .doc format only
• Send your entries to summerproject@jbims.edu by 13th October 23:59:59 hours
• The subject of the mail must be Institute Name_Project Title
• Please do not mention the name of your institute at any place in the synopsis
Format of Synopsis:
• Project Title
• Objective of the Project
• Application and Scope of the Project
• Methodology adopted for conducting the Project
• Recommendation/Suggestions provided during the project duration
• Implementation Methodology of Recommendations/Suggestions (if any of the recommendations were implemented)
• Future Scope of the project
• Benefits to the company /CSR activities undertaken in the project
• Key learning from the Project
Cover Page
• Name of the Student
• Name of the Institute
• Project Title and Area of Specialization during the Project
• Internship Organization and Duration of Project
• Telephone Number and E-mail id
Stage 2: Final Round
• The top 5 entries will be invited to JBIMS for the Finals
• Presentation of 20 minutes per finalist is to be made
• Q&A session of 10 min per finalist
• Two-way Sleeper class travel for shortest route between finalists’ institute to Mumbai will be reimbursed
• Accommodation for the finalists will be arranged by Team Prayaag
• Decision of Judges will be final and binding on all participants

Prizes:
First Prize: Rs. 10,000/-
Second Prize: Rs. 5,000/-
Certificates to be awarded to all finalists
